Great for akc rally trials. 20in is perfect for my standard poodle that has a very full top knot.

hi. hard to navigate the website so I bought an item that wasn't right (petite). Then finally got the item I wanted (command). The command collar is hard to use because the leather parts are so large they get hung up in the rings. The rings are also overly large. Can you make a rope slip that doesn't need leather?

Our Goldendoodle has adjusted nicely to her slip collar and has made our walks much more enjoyable.

I bought two. They are perfect and don't stay tight like others. These are better than a pinch collar in my view. Try one!

Purchased a stout slip collar for a rambunctious 7 month old setter pup. Just what we all needed! Heel is no longer a problem....so long as we have enough reward treats!!! LOL Actually he responded well to the slip collar and heeling makes us all safer!

USPS delivered an envelope that was opened and taped back together with no collar in it. Called Mendota and they sent a new one out the next day at no charge.

Purchased a slip lead collar and it was too big and he chewed it off. Great quality product, just a big puppy who got bored. Emailed to ask if they made a size in between and why. They emailed me back the next day and said they did not, but would send me the next size down, free of charge, in hopes that it might work. I wasn’t asking for that, because it wasn’t their fault the pup chewed it! I love when a USA based company makes a great product and has even better people working for them!

My 6 month old Bermise/Golden mountain dog bit the collar in half within 24 hours. I just waisted $ 20.

The slip collars I purchased work really well. Along with the check cord I purchased it was the perfect combination. These collars will last a lifetime.

Mendota Pro Trainer Slip Collar

This is our 2nd purchase of a slip collar from Mendota. We are very pleased with the quality of the collars and the results when using them. Our Boston Terrier and Standard Poodle have gotten into serious fights on occasion. We had a hard time separating them before one or both of them were seriously bitten, along with one us us getting injured in the melee!! After some research we purchased one Mendota Slip Collar for the Boston. It really helped us separate the dogs before anyone got hurt!! The collar works so well with our Boston that we decided our Spoo would benefit from one too!!
